ROM Extremity/Trunk Cost Comparison

4810013 (CPT)

Range of Motion (ROM) testing of the extremity or trunk is a measurement procedure where a healthcare provider gently moves your arm, leg, or spine through their normal movement patterns to evaluate how far and freely your joints can move. You might need this test if you have a recent injury, pain, stiffness, or a condition affecting your joints, muscles, or nerves, or as part of monitoring your recovery from surgery or physical therapy. During the procedure, you'll be positioned comfortably while your provider carefully guides each joint through its movements and may use a special measuring tool called a goniometer to record the angles of motion.
